I’m an accredited BACP counsellor with a passion for supporting people to reach their potential and live their best lives. I trained as a counsellor once my children had grown up and so bring a wealth of life experience to my counselling role. Before moving into private practice I worked for a charity, providing counselling to adults, children and young people from diverse backgrounds and with many different issues.
I work from a person-centred and integrative approach, which means that I recognise every person is unique and may need a variety of supports, strategies or techniques to help them. I strive to create a strong, trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients whilst drawing on a range of concepts to support them in reaching their goals.
Adhering to the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists’ Ethical Framework ensures that I always hold the safety and best interests of my clients at the forefront of my work.
